Ellen DeGeneres Says Royal Baby Archie Looks More Like His Dad, Prince Harry
The talk show host opened up about meeting Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's son during a recent visit.
Archie Harrison is already getting to know some of his royal parents' celebrity friends. During a trip to the United Kingdom over the summer, Ellen DeGeneres had a surprise visit with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, which she recently opened up about on her talk show.
A highlight of her visit with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle? Meeting their newborn, Archie—and getting to cradle and feed him, People reports. In a trailer for the upcoming season of her show, she told her audience, "I fed Archie, I held Archie." She went on to joke that the four-month-old "weighs 15 lbs., which is, [with] the exchange rate, 17 dollars here!"
Since baby Archie has only been photographed twice—once for his official debut and another time at his father's polo match—many royal fans are itching to know whose likeness he takes after. Thankfully, Ellen let her audience in on which parent Archie most resembles. "He looks like Harry—and he had more hair than I did at the time." There you have it! The young royal and his father apparently share similar features—but we're still not sure if the little one has his dad's signature red hair. In the video clip, DeGeneres also praised the new parents, saying, "They are amazing. They are the cutest couple and so down-to-earth."
While Archie has been busy meeting visitors from across the pond, his mother recently made the trip back to the United States to support her good friend Serena Williams in the US Open tennis championship. While attending, she paid special tribute to her relationship with Prince Harry by wearing a monogrammed necklace sporting the letter 'H' and 'M,' notes People.
