Following a year-long engagement, Ellie Goulding and Caspar Jopling tied the knot in England over the weekend. To celebrate her nuptials, the bride went all out: She wore four different wedding dresses throughout the day. For the star-studded ceremony, Goulding wore a beautiful Victorian-inspired Chloé gown with a high neckline. Of her ceremony look, she told Just Jared, "I was so thrilled and excited to collaborate with Natacha at Chloé on my wedding dress. I have loved the brand and their incredible team for years, so it only seemed right for Chloé to play big part of this special day." Mirror notes that the dress, "is said to have taken more than 640 hours to make and had the couple's initials embroidered on the collar and veil."
Ellie later changed into a Stella McCartney number for the beginning of her reception. The design, an off-the-shoulder white silk sheath with a thigh-high slit and a delicate diamond trim, felt much more contemporary than the first. To finish her look, the bride kept her hair in an updo and added dramatic Bulgari earrings. Ahead of the wedding, the singer told Vogue that she was planning to wear, "a special Stella McCartney dress for when guests arrive at Castle Howard." The minimalist design, which many are comparing to Meghan Markle's reception wedding dress, was a dramatic departure from the traditional gown she wore at the start of the festivities.
In the same pre-wedding interview with Vogue, Goulding touched on details of her third gown, images of which have just been revealed. "Ralph & Russo have collaborated on my favorite piece from their AW19 collection–it's a bodice of pearls and silk, which I will be wearing with an evening skirt," she said. The signer wore the sparkling beaded gown, paired with a headband, for both her first dance with Caspar Jopling and for her cake-cutting ceremony.
Goulding posted a loving tribute on Instagram to commemorate her wedding to Caspar Jopling: "This weekend I married the love of my life, in God's own country, surrounded by the people I cherish. Overwhelmed with gratitude."
