Zoë Kravitz's Husband Karl Glusman Took the Personalized Wedding Jacket Trend to the Next Level
The groom donned a leather motorcycle jacket—which featured a hand-painted portrait of his wife—during their Paris reception.
If you're thinking about splurging on a personalized jacket for your wedding day, draw inspiration from Karl Glusman's—the actor, who recently married Zoë Kravitz, rocked his own rendition during their reception in France last month. Glusman shared a photo of his hand-painted garment, which was custom-made by Samantha Urbani, on Instagram—and it officially takes this trend to the next level.
The jacket is more of a work of art than an accessory. A large heart was painted onto the back; inside, Urbani created a portrait of Kravitz on profile, set against a backdrop of a bright-blue sky and clouds. She nailed the actress' likeness—she even included Kravitz's go-to pearl earrings (similar to the ones she wore on her actual wedding day!). A "Just Married" banner and two rose stems completed the look. Glusman accompanied his photo with an appropriate caption, referencing the jacket's motorcycle style. "I believe our stars were written before we met, 'Karl + Zoë, ride or die into the sunset.'"
This actually marks the first photo from the Big Little Lies actress and actors' nuptials, which took place at Lenny Kravitz's Paris home. The three-story, eight-bedroom 18th-century mansion was the ultimate setting for their nuptials; set in one of the city's most exclusive neighborhoods, the residence boasts an incredible garden (which is likely where Kravitz and Glusman exchanged vows).
The event's guest list was expectedly star-studded. Lisa Bonet, the bride's mother, was in attendance; her husband, Aquaman actor Jason Momoa accompanied her. The bride's Big Little Lies co-stars, including Laura Dern, Shailene Woodley, and Reese Witherspoon also stepped out for the event.
