Before the Wedding
A bride can include her stepmother in the wedding planning however she chooses, perhaps asking her to come along to a dress fitting, for example. She may also ask her to take charge of something at which she is skilled, like selecting flowers if she is an avid gardener.

On the Wedding Day
A bride who is close to her stepfather, particularly if her biological father has passed away, may have him walk her down the aisle. Divorced parents may be seated one row apart, with the parent who raised the bride or groom in the first row (this can be somewhat touchy; just do what feels right). If divorced parents will be in the receiving line, they may stand separately. At the reception, the bride can include a father-daughter dance with her stepfather and the groom can add a dance with his stepmom.
