Carrying your colors through to the drinks and food is unexpected and elevates simple refreshments to wedding fare. A display set up either at the reception or before it, lets guests help themselves. Mint limeade and pink lemonade in glass containers are identified with computer-printed labels, attached to ribbon with double-sided tape. The sweets -- iced sugar cookies -- match the plaid trim and monogram on the tablecloth. An airy garland is strung with paper flowers.

To make the garland, use flower-shaped craft punches to cut pink, green, and white paper. Thread a needle with embroidery floss, knot one end, and string flowers and pink confetti; to finish off, knot other end. Print out initials for your tablecloth and cookies in a font and size you like. Sew tablecloth (or have it made). Take a swatch of the fabric and a sample of the initials to a and ask him or her to recreate the designs in royal icing.

To make the lemonade pink, we added cranberry juice (or you could substitute pomegranate juice, if you prefer). The mint puree and lime slices help give the limeade its green hue.
