Lazaro Perez practically "grew up with a dress form and measuring tape in tow," his biography page on JLM Couture's website states. Perez quickly worked his way to up in the bridal fashion industry—he was even awarded "Best New Bridal Design" before he even finished his studies. In 1994, Perez launched his eponymous collection with JLM Couture and brides soon fell in love with his wedding dresses. Known for his ability to create "impeccable fits, exquisite hand embroidery, and the use of luxurious fabrics that shimmer and bedazzle," it's no wonder why so many engaged women are drawn towards his designs.

Lazaro's use of sparkle has become a hallmark of his wedding dresses. Almost every gown comes complete with shimmering fabrics, dazzling embroidery, and crystal accents, all of which result in an extremely eye-catching look.
