Maks Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd got married this past Saturday, but the nuptial festivities didn't stop there. On Sunday, the couple let the celebration continue with a post-wedding pool party, and let's just say that it was one for the books.
The celebration was hosted at Brooklyn's McCarren Hotel & Pool, and photographs from the party will have you ready to plan your own. Guests showed off the affair all over Instagram, and can you really blame them? It looked so fun! The pool party was attended by family and friends and featured large balloon letters spelling the pair's first names. Summery pool floats coasted through the water, including an inflatable pineapple and rideable flamingo. The venue itself was city-chic, and pool games kept the event-goers active. There was also a personalized photo booth on site, for fun snapshots to take home.
Maks Chmerkovskiy Can't Wait for His "Crazy Dream" Wedding to "Dancing With the Stars" Pro Peta Murgatroyd

We had SO much fun celebrating with you and your families! Best wishes for a long, happy marriage! 🥂🎉❤️😘 #EventPlanner cred: @nicolevolynets . . . . #chmergatroydwedding #shakeandsharemedia #maksimchmerkovskiy #petamurgatroyd #dancingwiththestars #dwts #dance #photoboothnyc #nycphotobooth #nyc #brooklyn #weddingweekend #photobooth #nywedding #nycwedding #brideandgroom #happycouple #gif #gifphotobooth #nybrideandgroom #newyorkcity #love #mccarrenhotel #weddingplanner #weddingseason #poolparty
The bride and groom kept stylish for the occasion, with Murgatroyd wearing a bridal-worthy Grace Loves Lace ensemble. Chmerkovskiy kicked back in pink shorts and sneakers—how's that for casually-cool?
Don't worry, guests were also fed well. With gold-filigree mini doughnuts, to be exact! To wash them down, partiers sipped refreshing drinks, which sat in custom koozies.
Consider the rest of your summer officially inspired. And can you promise us to consider hosting your own post-wedding pool party? This time, we'd love an invite, please and thank you.
