Jillian Harris of the Bachelorette just shared her super-sweet engagement story. The reality star recently took to her blog to tell her fans all about her December proposal, dishing that the Christmas-morning engagement was a dream come true for this bride-to-be.

It all began with a box of macaroons—but not in the way you expect. "The night before I had been sent some macaroons to the room and I wanted to take a photo of them the next morning so I left them on the table over night. Justin [Pasutto]'s plan was that he would put the ring box in the macaroon box and then get me to open it up! Pretty easy task, right? Wrong," Harris shared. On Christmas morning, Pasutto acted strange, doing anything he could to get Harris to the treats. Finally, after a handful of failed requests, Harris got up to open the box. "And then I opened the box…I just remember staring at the ring and being so confused and thinking it was a joke or that I was being punked…and then it hit me," Harris recalled. When she realized what was happening, she totally freaked out, but that wasn't even the best part.

10 CRAZY-CUTE HOLIDAY ENGAGEMENT STORIES

"My parents asked Justin to film the proposal so they could watch it later and that's why he set up the Go-Pro in our room that morning," wrote Harris. That's right—the whole thing was caught on camera! As expected, the surprise only made the moment better. While Harris swears the proposal was unexpected, it turns out she did have a bit of a hand in the timing. "I've seriously ALWAYS wanted to get engaged on Christmas," she shared, but Pasutto "always thought it was cheesy." Nevertheless, it didn't stop her from "pressuring him every single Christmas."

Now that the proposal story's out, when's the wedding coming? Hold your horses, fans. "We're actually considering getting married on our property but we want to get the landscaping done first and we're also talking about baby number two," the TV personality said. That all goes to say that the big day may have to "be pushed for a few years."
