Ed Sheeran and Cherry Seaborn are one happy couple—but could they be even happier than we thought? The "Shape of You" singer told Australia's KISSFM Kyle and Jackie O that he felt "pretty good" about marrying Seaborn back in February, and now it looks like he may have made good on that statement. That is, if you believe what the singer's pal Russell Crowe is saying.
During a Facebook Live session with Australia radio program Fitzy and Wippa, the Oscar-winning actor mentioned how his friendship with began Sheeran. "[Ed] was on tour here and he was getting a bit burned out so he came up and stayed at the farm for a couple of days to get some sleep and then we became conversational mates," Crowe said, accordingly to Radio.com. All fine, right? But then Crowe let this mention of Seaborn slip: "He has subsequently gone back to the farm with his fiancée for more time."
Sheeran hasn't confirmed or denied Crowe's slip up yet, but if his past statements about Seaborn are any indication, fans of the singer shouldn't be surprised if the engagement rumors turn out to be true. In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Sheeran described Seaborn as "the one person that's going to remain constant" in his life.
He's also no novice when it comes to weddings. Sheeran has previously performed for at least two different receptions, and recently attended golfer Rory McIlroy's nuptials in Ireland. One thing is for sure: If Sheeran and Seaborn are planning a wedding, the groom-to-be will have plenty of friends to tap for their first dance song.
