Soccer Star Abby Wambach and Blogger Glennon Doyle Melton Are Married

After a three-month engagement, retired soccer star (and Olympic medalist) Abby Wambach and her fiancée, Christian blogger and author Glennon Doyle Melton, have tied the knot! The pair said "I do" in a ceremony Sunday, and if the photos they shared on Instagram are any indicator, the event was absolutely unforgettable.

The newlyweds, who first confirmed they were dating in November 2016 and shared the news of their engagement (and pics of their gorgeous engagement rings), didn't wait to post a few snapshots from the big day. Melton was the first to spread a little Insta-love, according to People, and added a photo of the pair sharing a kiss and showing off their amazing wedding looks. Wambach wore the best non-traditional red velvet suit jacket, while Melton sported a dazzling silver dress. "5.14.17," Melton captioned the image.

Wambach shared a similarly adorable photo from their wedding day-a black and white shot of the newlyweds enjoying an intimate moment together. Between the sweet image, her white and red ensemble and the beading on Melton's wedding gown, it's pretty clear this couple has everything they need in the love and fashion departments. Her equally to-the-point caption also included the couple's wedding date.

As if there wasn't already enough love in the air, Melton added one more super cute post to her Instagram feed, this time sharing a candid snapshot of Wambach wearing a black hoodie that read "Christian Mommy Blogger's Wife," with a caption sharing all the feelings. "My beloveds," Melton wrote. "Please never give up on love. Life could surprise the hell out of you. Trust me-you might just wake up one morning and find yourself smackdab in the middle of heaven. I love my wife. LOVE WINS."
