Heather Morris Used Her "Perfect" Wedding Day as Inspiration for Her Latest DWTS Performance

It's almost like we were there.

You may know her best as Glee's Brittany Pierce, but on last night's epsiode of Dancing with the Stars, everyone got to know actress Heather Morris on a much deeper level. The show's theme this week was "Most Memorable Year," and that meant just one thing for Morris—reliving the year she got married. Her performance, which took us through her special day and life after marriage, began with a kiss from her real-life husband, Taylor Hubbell. Morris then handed her bouquet to her mother before joining her dance partner, Alan Bersten, to start their cha cha.

The story starts with Morris' and Hubbell's wedding day, then shows us the excitement of buying their first home together, and then ends with a sweet gesture of lowering their voices to close the door to the baby room. The number definitely captured the happiness of each significant moment. "I explained in the best way possible that our wedding was truly a perfect one; it was simple and rustic and we were alongside all of our loved ones, dancing the night away in celebration of our marriage," Morris told People.

THE BEST CELEBRITY FIRST DANCE SONGS

She even chose to dance to her son's favorite song, "Shut Up and Dance With Me," which also happens to be the last song she and Hubbell played at her wedding. Naturally, there couldn't be a more perfect tune.

But what we couldn't keep our eyes off was her outfit choice. The all-white ensemble resembled a perfect wedding dress, complete with illusion long sleeves and a deep V-neck. While Morris started the performance with a floor-length skirt, she removed it midway through the dance to reveal silk white elephant pants. If that's not wedding attire inspiration, we don't know what is.
