At this point, Ryan Reynolds should write his own fatherhood book. The GQ Men of the Year honoree has been shedding advice and observations since the day he became a dad, and that hasn't stopped with baby number two.

On Thursday night, he spoke with Entertainment Tonight about his youngest daughter. "Well, they look alike," he shared, in comparison to big sister James. "You can see that she's sort of a mini version of our older girl."

Aside from his amazement over the power of genetics (and some insight into how adorable she must be), Reynolds talked more about his daughter's impact on the family dynamic.

"But no, it's great," the actor confirmed. "It's like an actually cohesive, working, functional family." And James is apparently all for the new arrangement. "It's amazing to see my older daughter taking care of my younger one. The Lion King was right! The circle of life exists."

To pack on extra brownie points for good measure, Reynolds also commented on wife Blake Lively. "I don't know of what you speak with this 'getting back in shape,'" he responded when asked about her baby weight-loss goals. "She looks fantastic!"

Well, there you have it. The perfect family's still perfect.
