Liancarlo gowns are always simple and refined, and the Fall 2017 wedding dress collection lives up to the legend. Carlos Ramirez, the Miami-born, law-school-educated designer and founder of Liancarlo, believes that a wedding dress only adds to the loveliness of the bride on her wedding day, which is why he strives to make his gowns just as beautiful as the woman who will wear it. "I want people to remember how beautiful the bride was, not what a beautiful dress the bride wore." But make no mistake: Simple does not equal boring. Each dress, made completely by one seamstress, starts as a sketch drawn by Ramirez, transforms into a mock-up, and finally becomes the finished product. Expect one-of-a-kind designs—after all, each bride is different. "My whole theory behind bridal is timelessness," Ramirez said. "I design for people, not for show."
With that in mind, Liancarlo's latest collection features white and ivory sheaths (and even a jumpsuit!) that are form-fitting in the most flattering, feminine way. There's also a fair share of fit-and-flare and A-line gowns, with a range of sweetheart and V-necklines. Each dress features unique details, from luxe laces and floral embroideries to sleek, chic shapes sure to make any bride shine.
