The Beckhams hit the 17-year mark this holiday weekend! The British couple tied the knot at Luttrellstown Castle in Ireland on July 4th, 1999, and have been spicing up our lives with serious #marriagegoals ever since. Naturally, their Instagram posts in honor of their wedding anniversary were no exception.

The former pro soccer player shared an adorable throwback photo from their wedding. "Wow 17 years ago to this day this happened... I was lucky to meet someone who has the same drive and wanted the same things in life..." he captioned the post. "We have created 4 beautiful children and I couldn't wish for a more loving and caring mummy for them... Happy anniversary, I love you".

The fashion designer formerly known as Posh Spice also posted a sweet throwback photo of the couple sharing their first dance as man and wife. "I feel so loved and truly blessed," she said. "My best friend, my love. The kindest man who inspires me every day. Happy Anniversary to the best husband and daddy in the world!! EVER!"

For their ceremony and reception in 1999, the couple coordinated both of their outfits: Victoria wore a white Vera Wang ball gown and David donned an ivory tux for the ceremony. They later changed into matching purple outfits from Antonio Berardi.

Celebrity Brides Who Wore Unconventional Wedding Dresses

They're not the only famous duo that celebrated an anniversary this Independence Day weekend: Julia Roberts and Danny Moder tied the knot in a star-spangled wedding in 2002; Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher said "I do" over July 4th weekend in 2015, as did Vanessa Williams and Jim Skrip; and Tom Hardy and Charlotte Riley married during the holiday weekend in 2014.

A total girly girl, Jane loves everything about the wedding-planning process, but her favorite part has to be where it all starts: the engagement ring. She's a sucker for all things sparkly, especially in diamond form and sitting on your ring finger. But she can't count out those gorgeous bridal bouquets. They may not be diamonds, but they still hold a serious wow factor.
