Chive-Cream Cheese Canapes
This is a quick and tasty appetizer to serve at a wedding reception.

- 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 3 tablespoons finely chopped fresh chives, plus more snipped for garnish
- 12 slices thin pumpernickel bread
- 1 ounce sevruga caviar, for garnish
In a small bowl, combine cream cheese and chopped chives until smooth. Transfer cream-cheese mixture to a pastry bag fitted with an Ateco#863 star tip.
Using a 1 3/4-inch round cookie cutter, cut 2 rounds from each bread slice. Pipe mixture onto each; garnish with caviar and chives. Serve immediately.
