Simple Syrup

Use this syrup in small amounts to thin fondant while you work with it.

  • Yield: Makes 1 1/2 cups

  • 1 cup sugar


  1. Combine sugar and 1 cup water in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil over medium heat. When sugar is dissolved, remove from heat, and cool.
