Sugared Pistachios

These are a tasty snack to be served at special events or parties.

  • Yield: Makes 5 cups

  • 1 pound shelled pistachios
  • 1 large egg white
  • 1/2 cup sugar


  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Place the pistachios and egg white in a large bowl, and stir until nuts are completely coated. Sprinkle the sugar over the nuts, and toss until coated.

  2. Spread nuts on a baking pan, and toast until golden, 15 minutes, stirring halfway through. Transfer to a baking pan; let cool. Store in an airtight container up to 5 days.
