Figs with Chevre and Lavender Honey

For a one-bite taste of fall, try this sweet combo of figs, goat cheese, and honey, developed by Peter Callahan, creative director of Peter Callahan Catering in New York City.

  • 4 fresh figs
  • 4 teaspoons chevre
  • 1/4 teaspoon lavender honey
  • 1 sprig chervil


  1. Cut figs in half.

  2. Top each half with a half teaspoon of chevre.

  3. Drizzle with lavender honey.

  4. Garnish each fig half with a chervil leaf.
