Serve this savory snack -- edamame tossed with cayenne pepper and furikake (a Japanese seasoning) -- developed by Jeffrey Selden of Marcia Selden Catering.

- 1 pound shelled edamame
- 1 tablespoon furikake
- 1 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper (adjust more or less depending on how spicy you like it)
Boil edamame, then plunge into an ice bath. Drain in a colander. Sprinkle with furikake and cayenne and toss to combine.
