Sea Salt and Butter Popcorn Topping

This classic topping never disappoints. Use this recipe, created by Peter Callahan of Peter Callahan Catering in New York City, to get the flavor balance just right. Then sprinkle it on by hand, or fill a 10-ounce shaker with it to let others share in the fun. Bonus: You can label the shakers with our clip art.

  • Yield: MAKES ENOUGH TO TOP 1 QUART OF POPCORN

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt

Directions

  1. Pour two tablespoon of melted butter over every 1 quart of popcorn before serving.

  2. Fill the shaker with sea salt.
