Mint Simple Syrup

- 1 cup lightly packed mint leaves
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
Combine mint leaves, sugar, and water in a saucepan. Bring to boil over high heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature. Strain and store in refrigerator until ready to use, up to 1 week.
