Mint Simple Syrup

  • Yield: Makes 1 1/2 cups simple syrup (enough for 8 cocktails)

  • 1 cup lightly packed mint leaves
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water


  1. Combine mint leaves, sugar, and water in a saucepan. Bring to boil over high heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature. Strain and store in refrigerator until ready to use, up to 1 week.
