Flower Girl Tulle Petticoat

To give your flower girl a dotted look, we pleated flocked tulle to make a petticoat and pom-pom hair pins.
Martha Stewart Weddings, Summer 2013
  1. Cut a 7-inch-wide strip of tulle two times the skirt’s diameter.
  2. Using a needle and matching thread, loosely straight-stitch the entire length of tulle 1 inch from the top.
  3. Pull on the thread to gather, and tie off.
  4. Hand-sew the petticoat inside the skirt hem.
