Not afraid of a little snowy weather, Utah-based Jennifer Vander Veer and Tyler Wren set out to create a cozy wedding weekend in February in the bride's home state of Vermont. The itinerary? Nights by crackling fires, days filled with sledding outings, and a simple ceremony as the icing on the icy weekend.

Here, the happy pair clad in a Nancy Barrus Couture gown for Avenia Bridal and a suit by Beckett & Robb posed just before becoming Mr. and Mrs.

Jennifer and Tyler chose Riverside Farm for their nuptials. Just 10 miles from ski slopes, the property’s charming barn is fully winterized.

A hand-painted sign directed guests, some of whom stayed onsite at Riverside Farm, around the property. The bride and groom's families lodged at the nearby Amee Farm.

Cedar boughs and brunia berries lent a seasonal feel to Jennifer's amnesia-rose clutch.

The duo provided glittery jingle bells with their programs and guests rang their festive favors as the couple said "I do."

Before the ceremony, the blustering snow let up just long enough for the duo to pose for a few outdoor snaps.

Jennifer wore toasty shearling wedges with pink laces for outdoor photos.

After walking up a burlap-covered aisle lined with candles and grapevines in the barn's stone cellar, the couple, in a wagon-wheel chair, faced their friends and family as the bride's brother led the Quaker-style service.

A watercolor painted by the groom's sister was placed on the table all 68 attendees signed the marriage certificate. "Our guests were an integral part of our wedding," says Jennifer.

Scores of candles -- votives, pillars, and tapers -- cast a glow over king-sized tables.

Mini bottles of locally tapped maple syrup favors accompanied kraftpaper escort cards.

Birch logs and cedar clippings gathered from Jennifer's parents' backyard were arranged down the middle of each table.

A slate sign, hung with twine and rosy ribbon, marked the bride's place in chalk -- as did her vintage mink stole, an Etsy find.

A spoon for the bride, white burlap runner and plate, and an ivory napkin with a blush ribbon set a sweet scene.

The couple skipped cake in favor of homemade pies. Bourbon pecan -- a nod to Tyler's Georgian roots -- sat atop a slice of birch cut by the bride's father.

Tyler and Jennifer, in a sequined Sue Wong dress, surprised partygoers by performing a fully choreographed number from Dirty Dancing. "It was our first big 'team' undertaking as newlyweds," she says.

A month later, the duo posed for more pics on a mountain a few hours from their home.
