An Intimate, Romantic Wedding in North Carolina

After seven years and two children, Louisiana-based Erin Moniotte and Jason Beck finally made it official. The couple -- along with their 75 guests -- traveled to the bride's hometown of Arden, North Carolina for their English-garden inspired fete on March 17, 2012.

The Cliffs at Walnut Cove (a golf course and residential neighborhood) provided a scenic backdrop for Erin and Jason's celebration.

Jason wore a J.Crew charcoal gray suit and white shirt and a Burberry tie.

Erin had purchased another dress to wear on her big day, but after seeing this beaded gown from Aidan Mattox, she knew it was the one. Its simple, vintage feel just swept her away.

While sourcing her own accessories, Erin stumbled upon sparkly J.Crew bracelets. She bought them in a variety of colors as their thank-you gifts, for her daughter and the flower girls.

To honor the important men in Jason's life that had passed away, he carried sentimental tokens to represented each one: A pocket watch, gold coin, and U.S. Air Force service pin.

A Quiet Time

Because of their own kids, the couple wanted to incorporated other young family members into their wedding as flower girls and ring bearers. They provided lots of entertainment, energy, and fun throughout the day.

A flower girl posed with her basket of rose petals. All three of the bride's petite gals wore frocks tied with gray sashes made from extra bridesmaid-dress fabric.

The Ring Bearers

The ring bearers, nephews of Erin and Jason, looked dapper in black pants, suspenders, white shirts, and green bowties from Banbury Cross.

The bride's grandmothers were escorted down the aisle to a guitar rendition of Louis Armstrong's "What a Wonderful World" right before Jason and his groomsmen walked to The Beatles' "Across the Universe." Before making her debut to "Claire de Lune" Erin's bridesmaids entered to "Here Comes the Sun" (also by The Beatles) and the children followed as "You Are My Sunshine" played.

The Ceremony

Erin and Jason wed under a huge tree in their venue's outdoor grove and then exited to "Happy Together" by The Turtles and "Come Together" by The Beatles. The two songs created a light and cheerful mood to kick-start the reception.

The couple shared a kiss after being pronounced husband and wife in front of their closest friends and family.

The Reception

A seated dinner took place in the property's small pub. Its large doors were kept open, giving guests a gorgeous view and fresh mountain air.

The Greenery

The bride and her mother, inspired by the natural surroundings, decided to decorate the area with potted herbs in terra-cotta pots and olive-leaf garlands.

Guests were given the choice of entree: Carolina mountain trout, roasted chicken, or seared filet mignon. And in place of a traditional guest book, the newlyweds asked friends and family to sign a cookbook from nearby restaurant, Tupelo Honey Cafe.

The Cake

To help the pair pick their cake from out-of-state, Cakes by Jane mailed them fresh samples to taste. Erin and Jason decided on alternating tiers of almond and cappuccino cake frosted with buttercream and trimmed with a gold ribbon.

Evening Fun

After dinner, everyone hit the dance floor. The littlest guests busted a few special moves -- and event attempted break dancing.
