Rather than rice, give guests "cascarones" (confetti-filled eggs) to break over you as you exit the ceremony -- it's considered good luck. Local crafter Susana Rassvetaieff will make them for $1.25 each (sweet.com.mx).

After you and your groom take the plunge, organize one last hurrah for your wedding party: power snorkeling through Technicolor reefs with Cabo Adventures.

Pass up cheesy trinkets (seriously, what are you going to do with maracas?) for a vase from Necri Fine Mexican Handicrafts in nearby San Jose del Cabo. Another good bet: The store's tasty homemade hot sauce, Cabo Heat.
