As a professional baker, the bride was determined to select just the right delights for the couple's impressive dessert spread. Highlights included a Payard croquembouche, Laduree macarons, and Whimsy & Spice vanilla-rose marshmallows.
An avid cook, crafter, and baker, Blake Lively envisioned an abundant dessert table overflowing with their favorite treats. The focal point was their vanilla-and-sour-cream wedding cake with peach-apricot preserves and Earl Grey-milk chocolate buttercream made by Maggie Austin Cake in Alexandria, Virginia.
A table of pies on various cakes stands was set out in a gazebo. The couple cut into a peach raspberry pie by Dessertier.
Instead of one wedding cake, this couple set up a buffet with five cakes in different styles. Vintage shutters adorned with garden roses proved a pretty backdrop.
