Eighteen years ago at Camp Killooleet in Hancock, Vermont, Lucy and David shared a smooch they would never forget. "I remember it perfectly," says Lucy. "Right after David kissed me, he ran away. We were only 11, but I never stopped thinking about him." Years later, the couple reconnected and after a year and a half of dating, David asked Lucy's father for permission to propose.
After months of wedding planning, David, in Ralph Lauren, and Lucy, in Vera Wang, made it official in front of 165 guests at a private club in Paris where Lucy's parents have a home (coincidentally, their 1976 nuptials were catered by the "relatively unknown" Martha Stewart). But Vermont was never far away. "There are moments," says Lucy, "when David tells me I look just like the girl he fell in love with at camp."
Both the ceremony and reception took place at Cercle de l'Union Interalliee.
Ceci New York created all of the event's paper goods including these regal table cards which were named for Old Hollywood movie stars.
