Come hell or high water, Lauren and Tim knew they'd be married in their hometown of New Orleans. But they never imagined that Hurricane Katrina would arrive in the midst of their planning, bringing with her both hell and high water. With the big day postponed, the couple waited patiently for their city to recover. Then, on a perfect fall evening three years later, their long-awaited dream became reality. Says Lauren, "The wedding was our personal way of thanking the culture that taught us how to celebrate through food, dance, and music."
