When Jon Paul moved to Atlanta nine years ago, he left the girl of his dreams back in Ohio. Only he didn't know it -- or her -- yet. "He grew up in Hudson, as I did," says Kristen. "But because of our age difference -- he's seven years older -- we never crossed paths." Their lives finally intersected on a trip home for Christmas, when his mother suggested he chat up the "cute girl" working at his sister-in-law's boutique. "He came in and invented an excuse to shop for a gift," says Kristen. "He continued to visit for the rest of the week." That spark turned into a fire that burned long distance for nearly a year, until Kristen joined Jon Paul in Georgia. Here, the newlyweds outside Our Lady of Guadalupe, their ceremony site.
