When Alexis Kelly and Rey Andrade, who live in San Francisco, announced they wanted to have a down-home Texas wedding, they meant it. "Our dream was to be married surrounded by our closest friends and family members," says Alexis. With 100 of their nearest and dearest looking on, the couple recited self-penned vows and listened to dedications compiled by guests. Alexis recalls, "I looked around and saw that everyone we loved was there. It was exactly what we wanted."

Mariachi music, a nod to Rey's Mexican heritage, entertained guests before the reception, where the tunes switched to those from a DJ.

Rey and Alexis share a romantic kiss outside Barr Mansion immediately after their ceremony. The bride complemented her 1930s-inspired look with a flapperesque fascinator and a small bouquet of vibrant red calla lilies.
