Jay Steinle knew exactly how he wanted to ask Natasha Beadleston, his girlfriend of three years, to marry him, but his plans seemed sabotaged from the start. The couple was visiting Natasha's family at her father's summer home in Maine, and Jay had intended to propose on a boat ride to a neighboring island. Not only did Natasha's sister, brother-in-law, and nephews ask to come along, but fog rolled in over the water. Determined, Jay asked Natasha to hike to nearby Parkman Mountain with him a few days later and proposed after a picnic lunch overlooking the harbor. "It was the best moment of my life," says Natasha.
