Beside a sun-dappled pond at the sublime Winvian Resort in Connecticut, Andrew (left) and Jeremy break the glass, one of several Jewish traditions they incorporated into the otherwise secular ceremony.
Each table had a different theme; perched atop the "music" table's orange shag carpet is a rack of 8-track tapes and a Woodstock LP tucked into a Fisher-Price record player. (Florist Candi Milliard rooted succulents in a retro cork planter and used craspedia to playfully suggest a disco ball.)
The "photo" table holds vintage View-Master discs, slide carousels, wooden frames, and a classic camera; larkspur, peach roses, scabiosa seed heads, and craspedia shoot out of the centerpiece's wheatgrass base.
