For most brides, one of the first tasks in planning a wedding is finding the perfect gown. Not so for fashion designer Doo-Ri Chung. She literally stitched hers together the night before.
The bride wanted letterpress invitations to look both traditional and modern; Julie Holcomb Printers designed them with tan ink on cream card stock adorned with ranunculus blossom.
The wedding and reception took place at the Tribeca Rooftop, a 15,000-square-foot penthouse overlooking the Hudson River on one side and the city skyline on the other. Towering centerpieces helped to fill the open space and stood tall enough to afford the 150 guests unobstructed views.
The centerpieces -- composed of pink peonies, pale green viburnum, sweet olive, clematis and jasmine vines, and hydrangea -- overflow from tall milky glass vases. Soft ivory table linens lend a cozy feel.
