Their Story
The bride and groom, English teachers who met while working at the same school, chose to hold their wedding at daybreak because of its undeniable symbolism. "We loved the idea of the rising of the sun as a metaphor for a fresh start," says Bethany. At dawn on the big day, however, the couple and their nearly 200 guests weren't welcomed by the sun -- at least not immediately. Instead, a dense fog enveloped the landscape and delayed the ceremony for almost an hour. But when light finally broke through, Bethany says, "It was so worth it."
