This double-sided centerpiece is a tribute to the lifelong unions that preceded yours. The Paper + Cup kit is simple to use; affix two photos, image-side out, on each side of card-stock panels. Use seam binding to join each panel to the next, then add the decorative frames using glue or double-sided tape.
This cake, with an image of your smiling faces on the middle tier, is a showstopper. Dotted and floral ribbons are attached to the fondant using royal icing, pleated satin ribbon adds a ruffly effect atop two tiers, and an oval in the same trim neatly outlines your image. We cut the picture (which was printed on an ink-jet printer) to size, and glued it on with royal icing.
For a twist on plain old save-the-date cards, take shots of someone knotting a cord and holding a sign that says, "We're tying the knot: Please Save the Date," and turn them into flip books. Companies like Flip Clips will make these for you if you don't want to assemble the books yourself.
Your guests will flip for playing cards depicting you and your partner as tykes. We had these made by Kodak Gallery.
Endear yourself to sugar fiends on your list with lollipops, cookies, and chocolates emblazoned with your image. We used printed photos cut with a craft punch for the foil coins; the rest can be ordered from specialty vendors such as Chocolate Graphics (866-323-0745), Beau-coup for the Lollipops, and Elenis for the cookies.
Tiny touches, like Hershey's kisses with laser-printed stickers, make lasting impressions. We had our mini-kiss labels made by EDPS.
Sprinkle photo confetti on your reception tables, and guests will have an instant conversation starter. Photofetti will turn your pictures into this fun confetti.
Here's a surefire tearjerker and chortle-inducer -- a gallery of childhood snapshots. A thin layer of foam board is attached to a folding screen with spray-adhesive, and mint-green cloth is affixed the same way inside the border. We criscrossed white satin ribbons across the board (gluing them along the border), placed map tacks at intersections, and tucked photos behind them.
Got an emotional groom on your hands? Outfit him with something sentimental: cuff links by Romero Designs or a watch from Personalization Mall that tells the story of your romance.
For weepy bridesmaids and moms, a bracelet embelished with photo charms by Rembrandt Charms or a pendant by Nunn Designs bearing their favorite picture of you and your groom is a lovely gift.
Show your gratitude with this DIY thank-you that starts with fun times with your beau in a photo booth.
