Photo Cake
This cake, with an image of your smiling faces on the middle tier, is a showstopper. Dotted and floral ribbons are attached to the fondant using royal icing, pleated satin ribbon adds a ruffly effect atop two tiers, and an oval in the same trim neatly outlines your image. We cut the picture (which was printed on an ink-jet printer) to size, and glued it on with royal icing.
love the idea of playing cards - I'll need to buy 2 sets - one for him and one for her. Most the places that print cards like Shutterfly only allow you to use one print for the entire card set. I wish there was a place that allowed you to use 52 different prints!
This is a great idea!
I tried going on moo.com for the seal stickers and I can't find where you can add your picture. Has anyone done that or does anyone have another website to make envelope seals. Our invitations are very plain, so we wanted to do something personal with them, and i though this would be cute. Thanks!
I ordered the little Hershey kiss sized stickers from edps.com, as suggested here in Martha Stewart. That was 2 months ago, my credit card was charged, I have NOT received the item, and edps is not responding to my emails or phone calls. I will continue trying, but at the moment, I would not recommend this vendor!
Does anyone know where I can buy the exact folding screen shown in photob 8? I would love to make this, but can't find this kind of folding screen anywhere. Thanks!
The photos you use for these craft projects don't all have to be of the couple. You can also use old photographs of the bride's parents, the groom's grandparents, etc.
The chocolates with ictures on them are rather popular here, hwoever the layer wiht the photo on it is not very tasty. If it doens't taste good I think it's rude to give it to your guests just because it features a picture of the couple.
However, i am a huge fan of photos and I plan on having old weding photos lined in neat frames on a table where the guests first enter.

the link on Darcy's wedding day ideas is incorrect.
also, Darcy said on the Martha show that there are instructions for the photo cake on the website but none are included...
who really wants a sucker with my face on it? some of these projects are a little weird.
