Flowers are Forever

Martha Stewart Weddings, 2008

Flowers fade, but fabric lasts a lifetime. Use millinery blossoms to create a stunning keepsake to carry down the aisle.

You can go with an abstract look like the florets below, or something more realistic like the roses at left.

Wrap the stems in floral tape and tie the bunch with a wide ribbon to cover. It's one bouquet you won't want to toss.

Peach flowers and cream buds, Tinsel Trading Co., $10 and $12.50. Roses, Nicholas Kniel, $20. Rose and two buds, Charles Lubin Company, $25 per spray, from Dulken & Derrick.
