Martha Stewart Weddings, 2000
This display is a centerpiece, a stack of party favors, and a table-number indicator all in one.
Fill small cardboard boxes with cookies or candies, wrap them with bands of paper and slender ribbon, and stack them on a silver compote in the shape of a pyramid. Attach a table number to the topmost box.

Definitely check out ebay for boxes. You can get a great deal on massive quantities.

We are using this for my daughters wedding, we are using variations of black, white and hot pink ribbons and it is gorgeous
You could try somethign like this and paint it gold. That's what I'm going to try.

Does anyone know where I can get that gold cake stand? I have been searching for something exactly like that for months for my wedding centerpiece.
Some brides distribute their favors at the end to save space on the table, but I really like this idea because it is a space and time saver. It is definitely a winner - Cute and practical!!
