Make Sending Thank-You Cards Easier
During the excitement of a shower, it can be hard to keep track of who gave what. Have a helper write the givers' names on labels, and stick them on the box right after the bride has opened it.

I notice you have thank you as a hyphenated word. In Canada it is not hyphenated. Is it in the U.S.?

I always have the bride to be or mother to be write what was given on the back of the card that came with the gift. Did the same with my kids graduation. You will then have this documented for years to come. I also have everyone fill out their name and addresses on the return thank you envelope and pull envelopes for a drawing. Now the people attending could get a gift and your thank you envelopes are already addressed!

I was at a shower this past weekend where the sister (note-taker) had printed a list of all of the guest names so she just found the name on the list and wrote in the gift they gave the mom-to-be.

Better yet, use labels with the guests' addresses so the bride doesn't have to look them up to do her thank-yous.
