A New Year's Eve celebration wouldn't be complete without a glass of Champagne, so bubbly is a perfect theme for end-of-the-year festivities. Ball-shaped ornaments displayed in glass flutes mimic the rising bubbles. (We mixed vintage balls with clear ones.) Gather flutes in varying styles, and cluster them on a cake stand to craft a truly effervescent centerpiece.

Add sheer fabric over the table cloth and put clear small lights under the fabric!
It makes a fabulous fun festive look.
Another decorative idea would be to use a gold or silver lame piece of fabric as a table cloth or to put gold and silver ribbons aound to cake plate or the glasses holding the ornaments.
I used a clear glass cake stand which created an even more elegant looking centerpiece.
It's a great idea. I wish you could enlarge the picture to see it better.
I saw ornaments exactly like these at Target's after Christmas sale. You get 24 tiny ornaments for $2!
I'm thinking Wedding Reception tables, especially holiday weddings!
Love this idea! If you don't have the right size Christmas balls, they'd be half-price now that Christmas is over.
