Dressing Up the Basic Box

Martha Stewart Weddings Tenth Anniversary, Special Issue 2005

Small boxes are ideal for favors -- they are inexpensive and easy to find, come in many colors, and are simple to prepare. The message on this scroll (left) was calligraphed, then photocopied onto the paper.

Paper ribbon printed with a poem binds a stack of boxes (above right). Below, monogram stickers fasten tails of a grosgrain bow.

A personalized label made with a rubber stamp seals this package.

This box gets a handle from blue ribbon threaded through the lid and sides.
