For this take on the time-honored gardenia cascade, contributing editor Livia Cetti of the Green Vase added woody stems (spiraea, philadelphus, rhododendron) for a from-the-garden feel. Lilacs and PeeGee hydrangeas would be equally romantic. The pearl-and-emerald-hued bouquet is tied with vintage beaded trim and aqua silk.
