Dressing the Bouquet: Streamers

Martha Stewart Weddings, Fall 1999

Cut varying lengths of 1/2-inch-wide, double-faced satin ribbon.

Streamers How-To
1. Collect leftover florets from your bouquet; cut stems short. Tie one end of each ribbon around a floret's stem.

2. Some streamers can dangle from the center of the bouquet; tie the free end of a ribbon around the stem of a flower cluster. Other streamers can drape from the bouquet's base or handle. Once all streamers are in place, wrap stems with complementary ribbon or fabric, using a classic or square-end technique from the previous pages.
