Bouquets: Cosmos and Roses, Eucharis and Satin

Martha Stewart Weddings, Winter/Spring 1997

Cosmos and Roses
Velvety chocolate cosmos form a cuff around lavender 'Paradise' roses. Inspired by fifties haute couture, the bouquet is finished with chocolate bows pinned to its handle.

Mixed Roses
A bouquet composed of a single variety looks both modern and romantic. These overripe roses from Martha's garden are nestled in organza.

Eucharis and Satin
A simple spray of Eucharis is tied with a satin ribbon. Popular in the forties, these fragrant blossoms remain true to their name, meaning "very graceful."
