When I open the template, all I see is a single sheet of printed lace. How is this to become a bag to hold the votive? Please send me all the directions. I absolutely love the luminaries. I tried them the ones you have on vellum and they were fantastic. There looks to be at least five different patterns. Is there any way that I could get the other patterns? I am getting married on the 17 of September if I could know as soon as possible. Thank you

It's not so hard to figure out- all you do is print this onto vellum and then fold into a bag shape and secure with a glue stick or double sided clear photo stickers... viola!

This was very poorly edited. No instructions and impossible to see photograph. Could you please re-do this one, as the idea sounds lovely, and from the response, lots of us would like to make these.
Martha, these sound lovely. But, please give more directions-- what do you wrap? What kind of candle or votive is used. Specifics, please. I'm excited to make these for a shower.
Paper on the inside of a candle holder of any kind would be dangerous. These look like they are wrapped around glass vases.
Reply to BabsyAnne: I don't think these are meant to be wrapped around anything. I think they are just free standing (inside, so no wind) around a votive or other candle that is already in a container. You could always secure it directly around a vase or glass or votive holder to make it more secure, especially if you want to use it outside.
Please give us folding instructions.

Am I just slow, or should there be some kind of instructions with this project?
Why do they insist on showing things on the same color background? I can't see the patterns on these very well. It may be "artsy" photography, but it's still impractical and stupid. This website is also frustratingly slow, even with a cable connection.
How do I get the lace template to be a different color??
try using the instructions for the mini gift bags, or just wrap the velum around a round or square vase. Note that it is difficult to print on velum because it will warp
with all of the wet ink. I also like to use the battery tea lights...much safer!!
