Martha Stewart Weddings, Spring 2003
A bouquet features garden roses in subtle shades of cream and pink and in all stages of bloom, from tightly closed buds to fully opened blossoms. On the cake, more roses are arranged between buttercream tiers piped in a basket-weave pattern to resemble wicker -- what could be better for a summer garden wedding? Atop the cake, a ceramic pot (with no hole in the bottom) is overflowing with roses anchored in floral foam.

why don't you try a pretty old tea cup from an antique store or perhaps one of your mom or grandma's? it would be a charming addition atop your beautiful cake
Love love this cake!!!! Does anyone know where I can get that 'cake topper' that serves as the bowl/flower pot for the flowers at the top of the cake? I'd like to have the same look for my wedding cake but can't find anything for the flower holder. Any help would be great!
