Flower Girl Headband How-To

Martha Stewart Weddings, Summer 2010

Handmade blossom headbands won't wilt by the reception.

For this project, you'll need millinery flowers and leaves attached to wire stems, a simple metal headband, thin ribbon, and strong fabric glue.

Flower Girl Headband How-To
1. Secure one end of ribbon to one end of headband using fabric glue; then wrap entire headband tightly with ribbon, securing with glue at opposite end.

2. Lay flower and leaf wires against one side of headband; then cover wires with ribbon, wrapping until you reach end of headband. Glue in place. By keeping the ribbon tight and using strong glue at each end, you won't need to glue on the flowers themselves.
