Lace Invitation Suite

Frame your invitations and requests with a playful lacy pattern. Just type your big-day details into a file with our clip art. One letter-size sheet makes two invites or four response cards. And here's a great tip: Use magnetic paper for the save-the-dates.

Save-the-Date Card and Magnet How-To
1. Using a desktop-publishing program such as Microsoft Word, download the PDF and place it as an image in your document.

Create a text box and layer it over the lace image; then, type in the text for your invitation and apply the font of your choice. Print on magnet sheets. Cut at crop marks using a metal straightedge and a craft knife (don't cut all the way to the paper's edge; this will leave the crop marks intact for each subsequent cut). Each sheet will yield four save-the-date cards.

2. Print the save-the-date holder on 8 1/2-by-11-inch paper. Cut at crop marks using a metal straightedge and a craft knife (don't cut all the way to the paper's edges; this will leave the crop marks intact for each subsequent cut).

3. Lay save-the-date magnet on top of the holder, and position the card so the designs align. With a pencil, lightly draw 1/4-inch-long marks around each corner. Remove the magnet, and position a metal straightedge diagonally across each corner, connecting the ends of the marks. Using a craft knife, cut along the diagonal to make a small slit. Repeat on the three remaining corners. Gently erase pencil marks. Tuck the corners of the save-the-date card into the slits.

If you have an image editing software (photoshop, or any photo software) you can edit colors there. Look for color balance or anything that says color.
