Blue Watercolor Place Card How-To

Martha Stewart Weddings, Winter

Use our tented cards as escort cards or place cards, even favor tags; the design's many shades of blue will coordinate with any blue color scheme.

Download our PDF. If you want to print names and table numbers from the computer, use a desktop publishing software or Microsoft Word to layer the image underneath text boxes. You can also print the cards with blank spaces, and have the names written by hand.

Print the design onto white or cream card stock or cover-stock paper. Use a bone folder and a metal ruler to score the paper between the dotted crop marks; this will make folding the cards in half easier and cleaner.

Then use a craft knife and a metal ruler to cut between the solid crop marks (do not cut all the way to the edges of the paper; this will leave the crop marks intact for subsequent cuts). If you've printed the cards blank, leave them unfolded for writing on.

Just before placing the cards on the tables, fold them along the scored lines, creasing lightly so they will stand up.
